Difference between AI2 and AIO Diapers

At Planet Baby, we offer 3 types of cloth diapers styles:

1- All-in-Two Pocket Hybrid Diapers: One size adjustable with snaps that fits babies from 10 to 35lbs.
2- All-in-One Diapers (charcoal viscose from bamboo liner): One size adjustable with a liner of charcoal viscose from bamboo and sewn-in inserts of viscose from bamboo.
3- Fitted Diapers (viscose from bamboo): one size adjustable with snaps fitted diaper that fits babies up to 28 lb and is compatible with our all-in-two diaper covers.

We also offer a newborn AI2 diapers. They're non-bulky and have 2 size settings to fit Newborn babies up to 12lbs.

The difference between the All-in-One and All-in-Two diapers is mainly the insert.

The All-in-One (AIO) diapers have a liner of charcoal viscose from bamboo that is very soft and a sewn-in insert under the diaper liner. Diapers are one size adjustable with snaps. They're non-bulky and have 4 size settings to fit babies weighing between 10lbs-35lbs.

The All-in-Two (AI2) diapers offers the options of a removable reusable insert. The inner layer is polyester mesh. Diapers are one size adjustable with snaps. They're non-bulky and have 4 size settings to fit babies weighing between 10lbs-35lbs.

You can choose to add different insert material that suits your needs. We offer 4-layer inserts of viscose from bamboo with a snap, 5-layer inserts of charcoal viscose from bamboo with a snap, or 4-layer cotton/hemp inserts. All bundles include standard inserts of viscose from bamboo (soaker pad) which are made from 4 layers of material and snap in place. You can add additional inserts in viscose from bamboo, charcoal viscose from bamboo or cotton/hemp.

Planet Baby Pocket All-In-Two diapers are simple and soft. They’re the most flexible cloth diaper system. Hybrid cloth diapers are a perfect long-term cloth diaper choice for modern parents.

Materials

• Inner lining: polyester mesh.
• The outer fabric of the diaper covers is polyester waterproof breathable TPU.

Our hybrid system is as simple as you can get. It’s also flexible since it works for all your morning, nighttime, and travel needs. Hybrid cloth diapers are also easy to put on and take off. Simply secure the insert of viscose from bamboo with the snap to the waterproof outer shell, and then fasten the diaper to your baby. When your baby is wet, undo the cloth diaper, easily remove the insert, and replace it with a new one. Dual openings in the diaper pocket make it easy to get the insert in and out.

The inner layer is polyester mesh. It has a double gusset at the legs and 2 hip snaps. Fashionable square wings feature square tabs with double rows of coordinating snaps for a trim fit around hips and newborn tummies.

The outer fabric of the diaper covers is polyester with a water-resistant TPU layer.

The Inserts

Offered in 2 Sizes, all our inserts are machine washable and dryable to save busy parents time and hassle.

• Regular size - ideal for babies weighing between 10-35lbs. Insert size is 14 x 5 inches. (with a snap)
• Newborn inserts are ideal for baby weight up to 12lbs. Insert size is 12.6 x 3.54 inches. Inserts are designed to fit with our Newborn diapers. (no snap)

Three Material options:

• Cotton/Hemp 4-layer with a Snap - Premium material and quality fabric. Made from 4 layers of soft material: 55% hemp and 45% cotton. This is our premium option.

• Soft 4-layers with a Snap (viscose from bamboo) - two outside layers of viscose from bamboo and two inner layers of microfibre (polyester and polyamide). These inserts are soft and very easy to clean and dry.
  
  
• Charcoal 5-layers with a Snap (charcoal viscose from bamboo) - two outside layers of charcoal viscose from bamboo and three inner layers of microfibre. Dark colour. Comfortable, breathable and very easy to clean and dry.
